Trump claims that the media downplays his “100,000 people” rallies and exaggerates Kamala Harris’s audience size.

Donald Trump is bemoaning the number of people that attended Kamala Harris’s campaign event and the amount of media attention she receives.

He made a comparison, saying that although she receives a larger audience than he does, he doesn’t receive as much media attention.

Additionally, he has maintained that the Harris campaign’s impressive audience figures must be “fake.”
Today, August 8, he posted on Truth Social, saying, “If Kamala has a rally with a thousand people, the press gets ‘crazy,’ talking about how ‘big’ it was, and she pays for her ‘Crowd.'” When I hold a rally with 100,000 attendees, the fake news doesn’t cover it because they won’t mention the size of the crowd.

The Fake News is the Enemy of the People!”

Later on Thursday, Trump gave a lengthy tirade about crowd sizes at a press conference he hosted from Mar-a-Lago.

When queried about audience sizes, he became visibly irritated and remarked, “It’s so dishonest, the press.”

He asserted, “I have ten times, twenty times, or thirty times the number of people in attendance,” and that “the Republican Party, and me as a candidate, has the enthusiasm.”

Later, Trump asserted that on January 6, 2021, he might have attracted a larger crowd than “Martin Luther King when he did his speech.”

This follows Kamala Harris drawing large crowds; according to the Harris campaign, 14,000 people attended Temple University in Philadelphia on Tuesday, August 6, both inside the venue and in the overflow areas.

In front of about 4,000 spectators, former president Donald Trump held a rally at the same location on June 22, according to the Daily Pennsylvanian.

Since then, the Harris-Walz campaign has made fun of the Republican front-runner by posting images from the two events on Trump’s Truth Social social media platform.

In one picture, Harris and Walz are on stage with a crowded room behind them. Some people noticed at the time that the second, blurrier photo seemed to show Trump at his event with the upper tier of seats empty.
