Wizkid says he made all his hit songs sitting down.

Afrobeat singer Ayodeji Balogun, well known as Wizkid, has disclosed how all of his successful songs were created. The Grammy-winning artist claimed that he doesn’t have to sweat about making a big song because all of his hit songs were written while he was sitting down.

Wizkid made it clear that he is not under pressure to make songs and instead relies on his natural talent and collaborations with dependable producers such as P2J.

In his own words:

“All my biggest songs from ‘Holla At Your Boy’ to ‘Soco’, ‘Joro’, ‘Ojuelegba’, I recorded them sitting down,” he admitted. “You [P2J] know how things are in Lagos. You have been in my house. You know what I do. I’m just chilling. You got me, no worries.

“You see, I despise doing promotional stuff. You know what, man, I detest doing all that sh*t. I understand exactly what the people desire. [Producer] P2J is the only n**ga who understands me.

“All we need to do is switch on the microphone. The beautiful thing is that the globe is now globalised; you don’t need somebody to deceive you.”
